Jealousy Helper → The app
The jealousy app for the moment you're spiraling
Most jealousy help is reading material: articles, books, advice for later, when you're calm. Jealousy Helper is for now: your partner's out, the loop has started, you can't stop checking, and knowing the facts isn't helping. Open it, and five guided minutes later the spike has somewhere to go.
How a session works
- Settle the body first. A spiral lives in the body (pit in the stomach, racing heart), so that's where the session starts: paced breathing built around the long exhale, the signal your system reads as "stand down."
- Then the real question. Jealousy is usually a protector, a part of you guarding your place, your worth, the relationship. The session helps you find what yours is protecting, in plain language, no jargon.
- Leave with one step. Sessions end with something concrete you chose: a thing to say, a thing to do, or explicit permission to do nothing tonight.
Private by architecture, not by promise
- No account. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to be found in.
- No chatbot. A structured guided session, not an AI reading your confessions.
- Nothing you write leaves your phone. Your reflections stay on-device.
- Free when you're spiraling. The crisis session is free, no trial tricks.
Who builds this
Jealousy Helper is built by people who practice jealousy on hard mode: the ethically non-monogamous, who face it on a schedule and can't solve it by avoidance. The techniques inside (somatic grounding, parts-work reframing) are universal: they work the same whether the trigger is a partner on a date or a partner's past.
Honest limits
Jealousy Helper is a self-help tool, not therapy, and it doesn't diagnose or treat anything. If your jealousy feels intrusive and obsessional, a therapist (especially one trained in ERP for OCD-pattern thoughts) is the right next step, and the app works fine alongside one.
